In Ramayana - Surpanakha proposes Ram, who send her to Lakshman which in turn cut her nose, ears and breasts (in south indian ramayana). In Mahabharata - Hadimba proposes Bheem and Bheem marry Hadimba and had a child from her. Such a contrast in both mythological sagas. Reason for bringing out these characters is that i love how women takes initiative and profess their love to the other person, even though they belong to different sects. It's funny how men have made women feel that they are inferior or they " depend " on men for their needs (be it emotional, physical or financial). So it's not accidental that women feel terrible about their bodies and doubt themselves. Now a days across the globe, the demand to treat them equally has grown, which is SUPERB . People have started realizing that women are not their possessions, they are humans and need to be treated equally.

Everyday we come across many people with different facets of life. But just by the thought of meeting a Gay / lesbian sends shivers. It was same for me till I had an encounter with a Gay person but believe me your perception will change once you meet any person with the same sex orientation. It so happen that i was going home on my bike (pic below) that 1 person start talking to me. Actually this is what we do in the real life, we pay for the sexual services. Be it your gf or wife or muse, you pay for these services. Though the forms might be different e.g. if it's your gf, you pay with Gifts ..etc and if it's wife or muse, you pay with Household & shopping expenses. But the nature is the same . I always wonder how people create perception by looking at only one side. How our society impose things upon us, even when they themselves do not know the other side of the story, or perhaps they dont want to know. We often say, every coin has 2 sides then how come all these things/stories have only 1 end, which have been shown to us. Is it that the other end is more painful? Or is it that it will reveal the true color of their " Heroes "? I would like to give few examples: 1) Every Year, we burn the effigies of Ravan, Meghnath & Kumbkaran. Reason is, coz Ravan kidnap Sita, wife of Ram. But we often forget that it was Ram & his Brother who first humiliated Ravan's sister. All she had asked Ram was to marry her.
