In Ramayana - Surpanakha proposes Ram, who send her to Lakshman which in turn cut her nose, ears and breasts (in south indian ramayana). In Mahabharata - Hadimba proposes Bheem and Bheem marry Hadimba and had a child from her. Such a contrast in both mythological sagas. Reason for bringing out these characters is that i love how women takes initiative and profess their love to the other person, even though they belong to different sects. It's funny how men have made women feel that they are inferior or they " depend " on men for their needs (be it emotional, physical or financial). So it's not accidental that women feel terrible about their bodies and doubt themselves. Now a days across the globe, the demand to treat them equally has grown, which is SUPERB . People have started realizing that women are not their possessions, they are humans and need to be treated equally.

Everyday we come across many people with different facets of life. But just by the thought of meeting a Gay / lesbian sends shivers. It was same for me till I had an encounter with a Gay person but believe me your perception will change once you meet any person with the same sex orientation. It so happen that i was going home on my bike (pic below) that 1 person start talking to me. Last night a friend called up saying she want to discuss something. I went to her place and she was crying. After sometime, i asked her what happened? She said - her love story is now ended completely. I asked her, to tell me the complete thing to which she said, they had a bad fight and now its all over . Yesterday Air India (AI) staff strike was called off and this time NOT due to their peer pressure but by firm stand of the Govt. They did not bend to the demands of AI staff. Though I really like the attitude of the Govt. as this is no way to get your demands met. But having said that, doesnt mean that Govt. should start exploiting the labour or dont care/listen to them. Ofcourse, there must be strict laws for such exploitation but going on strikes are NO option either For 2 days, many travelers suffer due to the Strike from AI staff. People had booked their tickets couple of days in advance,so that means they have no idea about this last minute strike. Apart from losing money, they have also lost their precious time. Some might have important issues to be resolved, but this strike left them stranded at the airport . Just 2 days of Strike costs Govt. 12 Crores. Those who still believe that it's the guys who makes the first move needs to think again. Now girls dont want to wait for Guys to make the first move, instead if they are interested in some guy they take the shot. I'm narrating 2 Real life incidents which happen to me in the recent past. 1) Last week, I went to Doolally (Pune's first brewhouse) as friends had already gone there and were calling.
