The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world with 7 million visitors a year. Though, initially criticized by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel , whose company designed and built the tower. The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris. Its base is square, measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. Tickets can be purchased to ascend by stairs or lift to the first and second levels. Las Vegas, is the 28th most populated city, a top three destination for business conventions in the United States. Las Vegas is internationally known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment and night life. Dragon Gate or ChinaTown gate has three portals, each covered with green tiles, is inspired by Chinese village architecture. The west and east (pedestrian) portal features a stone Chinese guardian lion. By tradition, the lion pair consists of one male and one female. San Francisco is famous for Silicon Valley and is considered as birth place of IT. All the major IT companies, including but not limited to Google, Facebook and Twitter, have their Headquarters here (check previous post ) One of the major factor for going to the US was visiting my client, that has office in San Francisco.
